Signing of Memorandum took place about the mutual understanding between joint-stock COMPANY «Atomstroyeksport» (ASE) and by the Indian company Larsen & Toubro (L&T). A document was signed president ASE is Given the White and senior executive vice-president L&T Madkhukar Kotval. In Memorandum parties designated the aspects of the planned collaboration, touching making of equipment for AES on Russian technologies, in particular, for additional blocks with the reactors of VVER on AES «Kudankulam». First turn of AES «Kudankulam»
with the Russian reactors of Vver-1000, erected at the technical assistance of ASE, presently is on the finishing stage. A memorandum is celled taking into account an agreement about building of additional blocks on AES «Kudankulam» and collaboration in building
AES on new grounds, which was signed between Russia and India of December, 5, 2008. This agreement opened wide prospects both for Russian and for Indian industry. L&T already has an experience of such collaboration, in particular, company actively
participates in editing of equipment of the first and second power units AES «Kudankulam». In obedience to the signed document, ASE and L&T will develop a collaboration as at building of subsequent power units AES «Kudankulam», so at building of the atomic stations
on the Russian projects with the reactors of VVER on new grounds in India, and also in other countries. President of joint-stock COMPANY «Atomstroyeksport» Dan the White underlined meaningfulness of signing of Memorandum, which «it is beginning of large joint work and enables
to both companies to a full degree to show the potential during realization of new projects in area of atomic energy», and also expressed a confidence in further development of collaboration between joint-stock COMPANY «Atomstroyeksport» and «Larsen & Toubro Ltd.».
