Turkish company «Adzhar Enerdzhi» must was build in the Georgian region Adzharia seven new hydroelectric power stations. It was planned that volume of investments in building hydroelectric power PLANT will make $167 million, and general power of all seven stations will make about 120 Mvt. In February, 2008 the government of Georgia designed with the Turkish company agreeing to building seven hydroelectric power PLANT with the annual general making 735,9 million kWh. On an agreement, electric power of new hydroelectric power PLANT must be exported to Turkey, but in a winter period in
case of necessity 40% making of the stations will be supplied to the internal market of Georgia.It was planned that building will begin in 2009, and to January, 2015 all seven hydro-electric power stations stage-by-stage will enter in exploitation. However later it turned out that three from them
it was planned to build on territory of preserve.On this basis, a government is under an obligation to return to the investors guarantee obligations to the amount of 500 thousands of dollars. The Turkish company will build four Hydroelectric power PLANT to the amount of 119 million dollars.Ministry of energy of Georgia
offers to the investors the list of territories, where the stations can be built - only 83 hydroelectric power stations are in the different regions of country.
