Libyan giant Oil Libya bought the Ethiopian branch of Shell – the whole business, including tanks and gas stations.Oil Libya has oil, together with major Western companies, and also has two refineries in Europe, around 3000 filling stations in various African countries, plans to build a gas pipeline between Kenya and Uganda. The first step the new management company was a statement of the increase in salaries of its staff by 15% since January 2009. Today, the Ethiopian market of petroleum products from Western giants left one French Total, the remainder – Agip, Mobil and Shell – have gone away.
