Turkish petrochemical holding Petkim, 51% in which belongs to alliance SOCAR (Gosneftekompaniya of Azerbaijan)/Turcas, will build a petrochemical factory in Iran. Turkish company Petkim and national petrochemical company of Iran signed a contract about building of factory on the production of metanola and polyethylene, the chairman of board of directors reported Turcas Erdal Aksoy. A joint venture will be created for this purpose
with equal equity participation (50 on 50 percents) of .moschnost’ factory on the production of metanola will make 1,6 million tons annually, and polyethylene – 300 thousands of tons, reports Trend Capital.kak said Aksoy, holding is interested in realization of projects and in other countries.
