Transit of Russian gas to Europe through territory of Ukraine in yanvare-aprele 2009 years grew short on a 49,9 percent as compared to an analogical period by a year before, Ministry of fuel and energy of Ukraine reports. A general volume of prokachannogo on territory of Ukraine gas was 23,2 milliard of cubic meters. Reason of reduction of volumes of transporting of fuel a ministry does not name, reports Lenta.ru. to the results of the first quarter of current year, general transit of gas through Ukraine in
the countries of Europe and CIS were made by 17,6 milliard of cubic meters. It on a 50,7 percent less than, than for analogical period the last year. For the first three months 2008 years through territory of Ukraine were transported 35,7 milliard of cubic gas meters.A decline of volumes of transit was
contingently as "by gas" by a conflict between Russia and Ukraine in January, 2009, so by the general cutback of economic activity, from which most countries of Europe shortened the consumption of gas.In obedience to gas agreements, signed in January, 2009, volume of transit
natural gas through territory of Ukraine in a current year must make 120 milliards of cubic meters. In the first quarter of 2009 the volume of transit must was make 29,5 milliard of cubic meters. In the second quarter he will be 30,3 milliard of cubic meters, in the third – 27,1
milliard of cubic meters, and in fourth – 33,1 milliard of cubic meters.
