The Kuwaiti company Noor Financial Investment Co and Gazpromgeofizika – unit Gazprom – to create a joint venture for exploration of oil and gas fields, said Vice President Noor Nasser Al-Marri.Under the joint management of Noor and Gazpromgeofiziki will be created by two companies: one is registered in Russia, the other – in Kuwait. Gazprom reach 51% of the shares of Russian companies and 29% of the shares of Kuwaiti companies, Noor, respectively, will receive shares in 49% and 51% in the Russian and Kuwaiti branch. The remaining shares of the company, which will be registered in Kuwait, will be the Cypriot holding company. Joint venture will provide services for the geological survey and preparation of the exploitation, maintenance and updating of technology, reports Reuters.
