German power business concern E.ON intend to begin expansion of network of gas pipelines on territory of Europe. On building of new highways a 400 million euro will be selected to 2012 years. As a representative of firm declared Gastransport – daughter’s subdivision of business concern E.ON – Shtefan Kampkhyus (Stephan Kamphues), the plans of expansion of the gas-transport system were ratified after the analysis conducted by specialists. According to him, making decision about bringing in investments,
a business concern intends to bring in an important contribution to providing of safety of supplying with power mediums to the market of Germany, writes Deutsche Welle.v result of conflict between Russia and Ukraine in January present year interruptions began in supplying with gas to Western Europe. representative E.ON, serious problems arose up in the supply of south regions of Germany gas which had to be transported from a north. As a result of expansion of gas-transport network this problem will be decided. In addition, possibilities will be created for transporting
substantially large volumes of natural gas through territory of Austria and countries of South Europe.
