Iran’s OPEC representative Mohammad Ali Khatib on the sidelines of an international conference oil and gas industry energy management , held in Tehran said that Iran will submit its project to create a Moscow organization of gas exporters.A meeting of representatives of countries exporting gas at the ministerial level will take place in Moscow on 23 December. Mohammed Ali Khatib said that the Iranian delegation will refer participants in the Moscow Summit project to create a gas exporters’ organization, and expressed the hope that this project will be approved, and an international organization with a specific structure and its headquarters will be in the very near future. According to Mohammed Ali Khatib, a group of Iranian experts prepared a draft statute for an organization of gas exporters, instruments and regulations. Iran’s OPEC representative stressed that taking into account fluctuations in energy prices, imbalances in supply and demand of the establishment of an organization of gas exporters is essential. Such an organization would enable gas producers to take coordinated action and to work closely with each other, sends Iran News.
