OAO «Atomenergoprom». The station is located in a 40 km south-west Kurska on the left ripa Sejm. On AES four power units are exploited with the channel reactors of Rbmk-1000. Presently on territory of Central Chernozem’ya there is not an energy source, capable
to carry equal to making of Kurskoy AES loading. The first power unit of the station was connected to the single power system of country in 1976 In 1979, 1982 and 1985 put into an operation three power units. In 1993-2004 power units of firstgeneration were radically modernized.
Now Kurskaya AES possesses the power settings, having an additional resource of exploitation, modern, acknowledged by an international association, strength and reliability security.
